The narrative revolves around a 50-year-old traveler, Bittu, who embarks on a journey without any discernible identity or purpose. As he travels through the countryside, he stumbles upon a village called Kokanagar, where he discovers that the villagers are still entrenched in superstitions and believe themselves to be under the rule of a royal family.
